FAQ

How do we go from questions to a career?

We will spend an hour going through a set of questions that we shall use to discover your Holland Code. After which, we will look at what occupations share similar Holland Codes to yours.   From there, we shall discuss how the job sounds and if the activities excite you or are tolerable for some of the menial tasks. Then, we can start to lay out a plan for how you can enter that profession by talking about the education needed or the experiences you must acquire.  If you are a student or planning to enroll in a college and your parents would like to discuss the results of our time, that can be added towards the end of the second hour.

How do my services differ from a traditional multiple choice career inventory?

The difference is you can explain why you gave your answers and we can talk through what is important about your answers. Most tests are objective. You answer X, then you gain so many points towards Y.  My approach is subjective. You can tell me the importance of aspects of your answers and we can shape your scores to fit you.
